Last year, Moncler recruited famed fashion photographer cum devoted dog owner, Bruce Weber, to shoot the label’s Fall/Winter 2009 campaign. Bruce Weber tapped into the less ventured and more creative roads, photographing Moncler’s famed puffy down jackets in interesting settings and uses. One of the most memorable and high discussed shots include Weber putting his battalions of equally snug and fluffy Golden Retrievers in the black Moncler down jackets (with the hoods on). Since the concept was so well received and beloved, Weber brings back his best friends once again but has them swimming with the jacket in mouth instead of lounging around in it. Adorable? Definitely. But the shoot is not just cashing in on the “Aww” factor. The campaign has a charity aim and has donated generously to Green Chimneys, a non-profit organization to help children with behavioral issues reconnect with the world and seek possibilities in future by having them work with wounded animals, giving both parties a well-deserved and needed second chance.

One of Vogue’s designated and the fashion world’s favorite photographer, Bruce Weber, had been commissioned to shoot the Fall advertising campaign for Italian heritage down company, Moncler. The campaign features some interesting images including Weber’s own Golden Retrievers donning customized quilted down dog hoodies, a bunch of half-naked male models rolling a huge ball of down jackets up a hill, and one of Weber himself sleeping on a bed surrounded by a pile of cameras with a puffy ski suit hanging from the headboard. Whoever said products need to be worn by size zero models clearly hasn’t seen Moncler’s Fall campaign.
