Jimmy Choo turns 15 and celebrates it by launching a Crystal Collection. It’s been almost 15 years, since this luxe shoe label has been adorning every fashionista’s feet. For Jimmy Choo 15th Anniversary celebration, Jimmy Choo founder and chief creative officer Tamara Mellon is launching an updated collection of the brand’s signature jeweled heels called Project Crystal.

Since Crystal is traditional 15th Anniversary gift so nothing could have been better than launching collection that includes a range of crystal shoes, bags and an exquisite resin minaudiere fastened with a crystal clasp.

“In celebrating our 15 years, I wanted to create a modern glamour that stands for the style and imagination of Jimmy Choo,” founder and chief creative officer Tamara Mellon said.

Ace photographer Marilyn Minter has been tapped to create a striking ad campaign for the vintage-inspired shoes. Talking about the collection, Mellon said in a statement “I was inspired by vintage jewelery to add sparkling and luminous details to iconic Jimmy Choo shapes. But these are not the jeweled shoes of the past and instead show jewels in a modern and edgy way.”
