We just had a conversation about cankle-creating, fold-over boots. And yet…
This is Leigh Lezark, one third of the DJ trio the Misshapes. The Misshapes have created and produced music for various high-end fashion shows. This, however, does not giveLezark fashion carte-blanche, and I think this outfit is giving me an aneurysm. Seriously, before I get to the boots, we have to draw attention to the monstrosity on her torso. Some kind of haute couture Michelin Man? Or is this what fashionistas will be wearing when the next ice age hits? It’s like shoulder pads evolved into some kind of new, menacing fashion creature – It’s the beast! Kill it!
Then there’s the boots. Ironically, I suggested Britney look into Louboutins the other day and then Leigh Lezark shows up wearing ugly fold over boots by none other thanChristian Louboutin. I mean, she looks like some dark, pony-type creature from the future. I really am not a fan of the fold-over boot trend – they remind me of legwarmers. If you’re so desperate to warm your legs and/or ankles, then please, wear some pants. They’re readily available at all clothing stores and depending on the cut your chose, probably won’t give you cankles. Thanks.
